The successful candidiate will be responsible for all operational marketing for one of Ireland’s best known brands. This is a highly visible role, with significant exposure to staff at all levels within the organisation.

The Role:

  • Ensure operational excellence within the Marketing function to effectively support the branch network.
  • Manage all weekly newspaper property advertising.
  • Be the main Marketing point of contact for Dublin & Cork branch network (which will include paying regular branch visits).

  • Represent the Marketing team at operations meetings with branch managers.
  • Manage Marketing operations budget.
  • Management of 2-3 direct reports.
  • Execute the online Marketing strategy.

  • Experience of people management

  • Working knowledge of Quark Express, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Professional, In Design and QuickCut
  • Experience and understanding of print production and processes a requirement
  • Web experience a distinct advantage
  • Marketing background an advantage but not essential

  • Liaising daily with the branch network and newspapers to ensure strict deadlines are met.
  • Production of weekly advertising reports.
  • Ad hoc DTP support to the Marketing Department when required.

The Candidate:

Fergus Murphy leaving ACCBank, joining Shelbourne

IAVI appoint new liason officer

Darragh Brennan has been appointed liason officer at the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, working with colleges and students on IAVI-approved courses, and liaising with the IAVI regional councils to ensure they are working for the benefit of members.
