New appointments at Knight Frank Ganly Walters

Global property consultants Knight Frank Ganly Walters has expanded its investment team with the addition of new staff members to meet its significantly increased business in the commercial investment property area.

The company has appointed two new surveyors and an executive administrator to join its existing team and expects to make further additional appointments over the coming months. The new appointees will all be working on overseas commercial investment property acquisitions.

Sherry FitzGerald Group is seeking an Operations Co-ordinator to join its busy Marketing team. The successful candidiate will be responsible for all operational marketing for one of Ireland’s best known brands. This is a highly visible role, with significant exposure to staff at all levels within the organisation.

The Role:

• Ensure operational excellence within the Marketing function to effectively support the branch network.
• Manage all weekly newspaper property advertising.
• Be the main Marketing point of contact for Dublin & Cork branch network (which will include paying regular branch visits).

Fergus Murphy leaving ACCBank, joining Shelbourne

ACCBank, which is part of the Rabobank Group, announces that its Chief Executive, Mr Fergus Murphy, has resigned his position with immediate effect to become president of Shelbourne Developments international activities. Mr Murphy has worked with Rabobank for the past 13 years during which time he was instrumental in the development of Rabobank Ireland plc and the acquisition of ACCBank by Rabobank. Prior to his return to Ireland earlier this year, Mr Murphy was responsible for the development of Rabobank in Asia.

IAVI appoint new liason officer

Darragh Brennan has been appointed liason officer at the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, working with colleges and students on IAVI-approved courses, and liaising with the IAVI regional councils to ensure they are working for the benefit of members.

Darragh joins from the Sunday Tribune where he was a senior commercial supplements and feature executive for two years.
