Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) Project Planner
As a member of the Special Projects Team within the Planning Department, the successful applicant will play a lead role in project development and management, design assessment, facilitation and implementation.
The successful applicant will have a recognised University degree or equivalent professional qualification, a demonstrable understanding of urban design quality and proven experience of the following:-
- The assessment of large scale urban residential developments;
- Medium-large scale mixed use urban development projects;
- Working with stakeholders including the community, developers and statutory agencies;
- Operating successfully in a multi-disciplinary team environment;
- Taking a lead role in project development and co-ordination.
Skills and/or experience in some of the following areas would also be desirable:-
- Sustainable and energy efficient development technologies;
- Social infrastructure and community development;
- Infrastructure provision;
- Property development/construction economics;
- Relevant information technology systems.
Remuneration for this post will be in the region of €70,000 – €75,000 per annum and will be on a contract basis.

Bannon appoint new non-executive director
